My Name is Mark David Ashworth. I've been writing and recording songs for a long time. After playing in several bands in Austin I decided to venture off on my own and work under my own name. I traveled throughout Latin America and recorded my first album there (mostly in Mexico City). That album, Viceroy, was released on Autobus, the record label I cofounded with my cohorts in Austin. I moved to San Francisco on a whim and now am hard at work on a second album, hopefully to be finished before the leaves fall from the trees.
