After months of deliberation and anticipation, Viceroy, the debut album by
Mark David Ashworth is finally here! Eleven tracks, culled from several months
of writing and recording in hotels in cuzco, lima, and mexico city, viceroy
is an accidental concept album about the trials and pleasures of otherness and
the search for the self in a foreign land. with multi-instrumental arrangements
played almost entirely by mark himself on instruments ranging from guitars,
pianos, programming and drums, to charangos, quenas, and nightstands.
Viceroy has been remastered (and sounds amazing and is available today.
